Yes. We also support EITW events in the group-tour format that are sponsored through our partners in the counties of Bedford, Cambria, and Somerset. Local BASICS groups make arrangements with credit-granting institutions to secure Act 48 credits or CEUs for the educators. Typically, participating educators are not paid when the events occur during school time; our funds help to cover transportation or substitute teacher expenses.
