A combination- We look for broad representation across instructional disciplines to participate; The actual shadowing experience is industry driven-employers determine each participant's unique experience at the worksite.
Pre-work/post-work materials requiredParticipants are provided with a text binder that includes all of the orientation session activities, the journal, guides to complete the lesson plans and a hard copy of the lesson plan template. Electronic templates are e-mailed to participants for final electronic submission. The text also includes a number of teaching resources and web links.
